TASTING NOTES
A Märzen done right. Brewed in March and conditioned all the way through summer - This malt forward brew uses traditional German brewing techniques including a decoction mash, cold-fermentation, extended cold lagering, and a specialty German lager yeast strain. A palette reminiscent of warm pretzels, toasted breadcrumbs and dried fruits; with a smooth bitterness and medium light body. A lager flavourful enough to capture any beer lover's heart, while remaining approachable, quaffable and oh so festive! Prost!
PAIRINGS
A Märzen is malty, smooth, and medium-bodied, with toasted bread and caramel notes balanced by gentle bitterness. Because of that, it pairs well with hearty, savory, and slightly sweet dishes.
GLASS
Serve in a traditional Oktoberfest Stein.
